Carlo van Dam fourth in South-Korean Super Race

Dutch racing driver Carlo van Dam finished fourth last weekend at the Taebaek Racing Park in what was his second outing in the South-Korean Super Race-series, despite the gearbox of his car failing on the first lap.

“On Saturday I recorded the second fastest time in qualifying, so the next day I started from the front row”, says Carlo, who again raced for Team Chicane with which he last month made his Super Race-debut in the championship’s Super 6000-class.

“In the race, unfortunately my gearbox failed on the first lap. I was able to get it into fourth gear and then left it there. That is how I finished, ultimately managing to claim fourth place.”
