Carlo van Dam satisfied with Super GT-return

Dutch racing driver Carlo van Dam today finished 11th with the Team SARD Lexus SC430 he shared with Kohei Hirate in the Motegi 250 KM, the eighth and final round of the 2010 Japanese Super GT-championship. Carlo was satisfied with achieving what was the maximum result.

“The most important thing was to get the maximum out of the car as it was here today and we managed to do that”, Carlo says. “We had our work cut out for us and the team was happy with my performance. We pushed the car as fast as it would go here today, 11th place was just as good as it got. I am grateful for Team SARD to give me the chance to race in Super GT again following my test with them earlier this month; it is a fantastic championship.”
