Mixed fortunes on Friday for Carlo in Italy

The Friday for Carlo started good but ended not so good. The first free practice went very well, the second was a disaster in terms of setup. A ninth and eighteenth place made a mixed day for the Dutch PSV driver.

Carlo: “The first free practice started very good. I was able to drive good laptimes and in the end, we just missed a bit of time to change the setup as we wanted. I think if we could have finished that change, I would have finished the practice within the top 5.”

“The second free practice was a disaster. We changed the setup completely to see what it would do with the car, but this was a totally wrong choice. The result is that we know this won’t work on our car. The cooperation with the new engineer is very good. He’s very experienced and he can help our team to bring us forward. I hope we can end up in the quarter finals tomorrow, so that we can start within the top 8!”
